- Merit-Based Scholarships
The Graduate Programs Office awards a range of merit-based scholarships to select, qualified candidates. Applicants are required to apply by the programmatic deadline to be considered. Note: A separate application is not required.
- College of Business Endowed Scholarships
All enrolled MBA students are eligible to compete for a variety of scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000. The application process begins in January of each year and closes in February. Recipients are notified in late March and are invited to attend the College of Business Award banquet in April. Note: The application link is made available to students in January of each year.
- $1,000 Entrepreneurship MBA Early Admit Scholarship
Applicants accepted into the Entrepreneurship MBA program by the priority deadline of May 1 will be eligible to receive this scholarship. This scholarship is awarded prior to the final semester based upon good academic standing. A separate application is not applicable.
- YPAL Scholarship
YPAL Scholarship Opportunity: The University of Louisville and the Young Professionals Association of Louisville have partnered to offer our region’s most promising students scholarship opportunities for the University of Louisville MBA Programs. These are merit based scholarships for a working professional who is an active member of YPAL and exceptional candidate for the MBA programs. Apply Today.
- $5,000 Rotary Leadership Fellows Program
The Rotary Club of Downtown Louisville in partnership with the Landrum Family designed a unique leadership program for pending MBA graduates. The award includes a three year honorary Downtown Louisville Rotary membership, mentorship during this period and a financial reward of $5,000. In turn, recipients are asked to participate on committees which serve the Rotary missions. The application is made available each February for pending graduates.
- $5,000 Taylor Leadership Award
This prize will be presented annually to a graduating student in the Entrepreneurship MBA program. Applications currently closed.
- National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA)
The National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and the College of Business award one scholarship (50% off tuition) each fall to a NBMBAA member who is seeking admissions to the Full-Time MBA, non-internship track. To apply for this scholarship, you must be a NBMBAA member and have submitted the scholarship application prior to the admissions deadline. More Information.
- National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA)
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the College of Business award one scholarship (50% off tuition) each fall to a NSHMBA member who is seeking admissions to the Full-Time MBA, non-internship track. To apply for this scholarship, you must be a NSMBA member and have submitted the scholarship application prior to the admissions deadline. More Information.
- Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA)
The College of Business offers up to (six) GRA positions in various departments. The positions are competitive and should be communicated to the Admissions Committee during the in-person interview. This scholarship awarded based upon the checkbox on the MBA application. No additional application required. Apply to enroll and select Graduate Assistantship on the application.
- Stafford Loans
Stafford loans are available to eligible graduate students. Please visit the UL Financial Aid Office for details as well as information related to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student aid). http://louisville.edu/financialaid
- Military Scholarship
The transition from military to civilian life can be a challenge. To support our nation’s veterans and active military, we offer a limited number of special military (tuition-only) scholarships designed to help them gain the skills and credentials needed for successful civilian careers. - William O. Alden Jr. Scholarship
The Alden Scholarship is an external award in the amount of $5000.00 and is managed by the Community Foundation of Louisville. The award supports outstanding Kentucky graduate students studying business administration (MBA).
