Alice will discuss launching and growing 2 successful companies in the transportation and high-tech inventory management sectors, and instituting a recent successful succession plan. Alice Houston co-founded Houston-Johnson Corp. in 1994 and grew it to a $450M truck hauling business that was the 2nd largest minority-owned company in the US, and the largest minority-owned transportation company in North America. In 2001, she divested from the transportation industry to focus on a $4M warehousing operation that has expanded to accommodate the complex needs of multiple industries and become a trusted high-tech inventory management provider.
