Economics: Decision‑Making in a Changing World

Economics is the science of smart decision‑making. It explores how people, businesses and governments choose when resources are limited—and how those choices shape markets and everyday life. The major combines theory with real‑world application, helping students understand growth, innovation, inequality and global markets. Economics students develop strong analytical thinking, data‑literacy and problem‑solving skills that prepare them for careers in business, data science, finance, market research, consulting, law, public policy, healthcare and technology.
