Where are the seminars held?

Most seminars are held at the University of Louisville’s ShelbyHurst Campus.

Free parking is provided. Seven to ten days prior to the seminar, participants will receive a campus map via email.

What is your cancellation policy?

A full refund or transfer will be granted if requested at least fourteen days prior to the seminar’s start date. We will accept a substitute at any time up to the seminar start date. You are responsible for full payment if you cancel less than fourteen days prior to the start date or do not attend the seminar.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather, please check the university’s home page at www.louisville.edu for a weather notice, or call the university’s general phone number at 502.852.5555. A decision regarding morning/daytime class cancellations or delays is usually made by 6:00 a.m. If the university is on a delayed schedule then your Professional Development seminar will begin at that delayed time. If credit classes have been canceled, then your Professional Development seminar has also been canceled. We will notify you when your class will be re-scheduled.

For afternoon classes, a decision regarding class cancellations is usually made by 3:00 p.m. If evening credit classes have been canceled, then your seminar has been canceled also. You will be offered a make-up session, which will be added to the end of the class schedule, unless an alternative date is determined together by the instructor and the students in the class.

Can you receive a tax credit or deduction for these workshops?

Depending on income, those who self-pay for continuing education workshops may be eligible for lifetime learning credits. Consult your tax advisor for specifics.

Does UofL offer a guarantee?
