Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council

The Louisville Youth Philanthropy Council (LYPC) provides a diverse team of up to 35 high school students (public, private and parochial) from Jefferson County, with a hands-on experience in grant making and philanthropy during a 16-week program on Saturdays during the school year (September – March). LYPC strives to educate youth about philanthropy – thus creating an appreciation of our community needs and how they can be met.

University of Louisville Partnership

The LYPC and the University of Louisville have partnered to offer a college credit course for eligible LYPC students. Students can earn 3 hours of business management 101 college credit, transferrable to any accredited college or university. The college credit program is a great collaboration that advances learning and promotes secondary education.
