Bio

Jozef Zurada, PhD, DSc, is a professor in the Department of Computer Information Systems, College of Business, University of Louisville, Kentucky. He was a visiting scholar at the School of Computer and Information Science, Edith Cowan, University, Perth, Australia; and the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. His research interests include applications of advanced computational intelligence and soft computing methods for assisting in decision making in business and manufacturing systems as well as streaming data analytics.

He published about 110 refereed papers and delivered about 65 presentations. His works appeared in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Man, Systems, and Cybernetics; International Journal of Neural Systems; Expert Systems with Applications; Journal of Management Information Systems, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Access, and Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews: Data Mining, and Knowledge Discovery. He teaches Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Infrastructure Technologies.
