Management

Management is the art and science of achieving results through the efforts of others. The courses in our department will help you utilize human, financial and physical resources to achieve results effectively and efficiently. Whether you are looking for a job or a promotion, technical skills are necessary, but not sufficient. Regardless of your major, employers are looking for people with demonstrated competence in creativity, communication, teamwork and leadership, along with the ability to successfully manage complex projects. Finance, accounting, marketing, economics and equine administration represent technical skills. The management major and minor will give you the confidence and competence to apply those skills for your future career.
