Qualtrics Survey Software

Virtual Desktop

The Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) gives College of Business students 24×7 access to Microsoft Windows 11 and compatible software needed for academic endeavors. College of Business students, faculty and staff can use these virtual machines from anywhere, from any computer from practically any device with a secure internet connection.  For the 2025 academic year, the previous Omnissa (formerly VMware) VDI has been replaced with Microsoft Azure.

As a College of Business student faculty or staff, the benefit is that you can access these software programs without having to purchase and install them on your personal computer. To log in you MUST have a secure internet connection – ulsecure or Eduroam if on campus (https://louisville.edu/its/wireless/wireless).

Study Areas

The College of Business provides students with study areas for groups to congregate to work or relax. We have designated rooms throughout the building for student studying or small group meetings – rooms 120, 203, 208 and 212. 

Our newly renovated Texas Roadhouse Student Center, located in the Atrium level of the building, provides students a unique and comfortable place to congregate, study or just relax with your friends. 

Our building, along with the University, has free wireless internet services for current students. 

Bloomberg Terminal

Bloomberg Terminal is available which provides financial information so students can monitor and analyze real-time financial market data movements and place trades. The Bloomberg Terminal system also provides news, price quotes and messaging across its proprietary secure network. The terminal is located inside the College of Business Computer Lab 045. 

COB Computer Labs

The College of Business offers students three computer labs in the atrium area of the building with more than 80 computers. Each computer is equipped with a wide assortment of software from Microsoft Azure.

Printing is available @ 15 cents per page (paid via UofL Student ID Card). Students can add money to their card by using the machine located in the lab or by going to louisville.edu/cardinalcard. 

The labs are located in rooms 045 (32 seats), 054 (40 seats), and 059 (21 seats).
