Steve Schmitt is an executive vice president and CEO for Walmart US. He brings over 20 years of finance leadership to Walmart by working in UPS and Yum! Brands. He holds a BSBA in accounting from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Indiana University Southeast.
Jenna Williams is a Lead Data Scientist at Brown-Forman and has been a technology consultant and risk and financial advisor at Deloitte. She has an impressive academic background in accounting and finance, medical anthropology, computer programming and international studies.
Joseph Rakestraw is an associate professor in the School of Accounting at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He earned a PhD in accounting and information systems from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, a master’s degree in accounting from George Washington University in Washington, DC and an undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Joe holds an active CPA license from the state of Virginia.

Throughout his journey, William’s commitment to financial excellence and facilitating positive change for the organizations he worked for has been a consistent hallmark of his career. He pursued his accounting, finance and business administration education at the University of Louisville.
Lynn Hampton is the president of Lynn Hampton Associates, having previously served as CEO at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and president of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Her expertise in financial and economic matters is underscored by her advisory position at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. She holds a BSC and MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Louisville and maintains active involvement with the University of Louisville College of Business Alumni.
Lee Kersting is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse accounting, education, and consulting background. Dr. Kersting currently serves as chair of the accounting, economics, and finance department at Northern Kentucky University’s Haile College of Business. With an undergraduate degree in accounting, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and a PhD in accounting from the University of South Florida, Dr. Kersting brings a wealth of expertise to his teaching and research endeavors. His numerous conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications further demonstrate Dr. Kersting’s dedication to advancing accounting education.
