Business Advising Team
The Business Advising Team assists with the following:
• Academic policies (bankruptcy, repeating courses, etc.)
• Advising hold on accounts
• Changing majors or adding minors (form available on ULink)
• Course planning and course sequencing
• Full-time/part-time status or course loads
You must meet with a College of Business Advisor if you are a:
• First-semester freshman upon admission into the College of Business (during freshman orientation)
• Transfer student (once admitted into the College of Business)
• Student returning to the College of Business after a break in enrollment of two or more consecutive years
• Student who has changed majors (must schedule an advising appointment by calling (502) 852-7439

• Business Minors – Refer to the academic catalog and your assigned major advisor
•.Non-Degree Visitors – International Affairs Office
• Pre-Business – See Exploratory Advising
• Other Non-Degree Students – Consult the academic unit to which you were admitted
• Visiting Students – Coordinate with your home institution’s advising office
Business Student Success Coordinators
Business Student Success Coordinators assist with:
- Academic performance concerns, including academic suspensions, warning, and probation
- Career planning guidance and referrals
- Holds on student accounts (other than ADV hold)
- Housing, personal, and financial matters
- Connecting with other students and/or student organizations
- Providing support or guidance when unsure where to start
- Transitioning to college
- Withdrawing from courses
