INTELLECTUAL CONTRIBUTIONS

Faculty produced 692 intellectual contributions, including but not limited to peer-reviewed journals, conference abstracts and proceedings, and books and book chapters. 395 peer-reviewed journal articles were published, with 65 defined as elite journals, and 128 defined as high-quality journals based on the COB journal list.

GOOGLE SCHOLAR IMPACT

COB full-time faculty received a total of 49,604 Google Scholar citations over the past five years, and a total of 113,824 lifetime Google Scholar citations.

​​CLIK CONFERENCE

The consumer behavior research group has four faculty members who have  each been very active in research. One faculty member from the consumer behavior research group has been appointed an endowed chair by the Interim Dean in 2023. The Marketing Department organizes an annual regional consumer behavior academic conference. The ​​CLIK (Cincinnati, Louisville, Indiana, Kentucky) Conference: Regional academic conference for the consumer behavior field started in 2019 by the Consumer Behavior research faculty group in the Marketing Department. ​Three years of operation (105 attendees in total), followed by a two-year COVID​-19​ hiatus. The Fall 2022 conference returned, attended by more than 40+ academics and business practitioners. Fall 2023 attendance at 42 scholars and business practitioners.

Manju Ahuja, James Fiet, Per Fredriksson, & Mahesh Gupta are recognized as UofL researchers among the top 2% most-cited in the world, according to a new list compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.
