Bio
Thomas A. Wimsett is the Founder and Chairman of Merchant’s PACT, a payment
card industry advisory firm based in Louisville, KY. He is also an operating partner
of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP). Wimsett has over 35 years of fintech
and payments industry experience, including National Processing Company and
Iron Triangle Payment Systems. Wimsett has actively served as a director or
advisory board member of numerous payment industry organizations including:
MasterCard, ETA, Visa, Discover Card, NACHA and wNet. Wimsett is also on the
Board of Advisors for the University of Louisville’s College of Business and served
as Chairman of the Catholic Education Foundation board for the Archdiocese of
Louisville. He is a 1986 graduate of UofL and was the 2002 College of Business
Distinguished Alumnus.
