Jay T. Brandi, PhD, CVA

Dr. Jay T. Brandi is currently a professor of finance at the University of Louisville College of Business where he has held various positions including Chair of the Department of Finance, Chair of the Department of Computer Information Systems and Finance, and Executive Director of the School of Business.
Dr. Brandi is a certified valuation analyst with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and is the President of FinPlan Associates—a financial consulting firm offering seminars, business valuations, professional portfolio manager performance analysis, expert testimony, and family business advising. Dr. Brandi serves on the education board of the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Board. He has served as a financial investigator, assistant securities director for the Florida Division of Securities, and as a lobbyist for the Comptroller of the State of Florida. He hosted a radio call-in show for several years and has published several texts and publications in both financial and law journals.
