Bio
Eddy C. Roberts is a former president of the Kentucky Division of BellSouth
Corp., (now AT&T). Roberts joined South Central Bell in 1973 as a supervisor
and relocated to Louisville in 1991 as a regional vice-president for BellSouth. He
is currently chairman of the GLI (Greater Louisville Inc.) board of directors and
executive committee and was a member of Governor Fletcher’s Arena Task Force.
Roberts also is chairman of the administrative board of Baptist Hospital East and a
member of the UofL Board of Overseers, in addition to serving on the Fund for the
Arts executive committee. He is a 1972 graduate of the University of Alabama and
earned his MBA there in 1973.
