Derek Bell, CPA

Bio

Derek Bell has been Adjunct Professor in the School of Accountancy at the University of Louisville since 2020. He is a CPA with over ten years of experience teaching undergraduate, and master’s courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.

In addition, he is an experienced financial leader with over twenty years of accounting experience in the energy, healthcare, and technology industries. He works in the SEC reporting department at one of the largest semiconductor companies.

He is a member of the AICPA American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kentucky Society of CPAs, and a Lifetime Member of NABA.
