Bio

Camilla Schroeder is the president and owner of Advance Ready Mix Concrete,
the largest locally owned concrete producer in the Louisville area. She grew up in
Louisville and graduated from the University of Louisville, School of Business, in
1990. Camilla began her career out of college with General Electric. She worked
there from 1990 until 1993, leaving GE to join her family’s business. After her
father’s passing, Camilla took over as president after being in the business for only
three years. Under her leadership, the company has doubled in size and made its
first acquisition of a local competitor in 2012. Camilla is currently serving on the
BB&T Advisory Board, the Kentucky Concrete Association, GLI and the Louisville
Metro Police Foundation. Having a daughter with Down Syndrome, Camilla focuses
her civic activities on volunteering for Special Olympics, DaySpring Communities,
and Down Syndrome of Louisville.
