Dr. Foster received his PhD in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the University of Louisville, Dr. Foster taught at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has published numerous research articles in top accounting and business journals, and his research interests include financial accounting, auditing, and corporate governance.
Dr. Foster also serves on the editorial board of several accounting journals and is an active member of the American Accounting Association.
