GLI Internship: Audrey Turchetta

Current MBA student Audrey Turchetta has been able to connect with well-known business professionals in her role in GLI’s government affairs office.

Since August, I’ve been working on event scripts, press releases, and media relations during my internship at Greater Louisville Inc., in the Government Affairs and Communication department. I’ve been balancing this internship with my full-time MBA studies at the University of Louisville. This experience has allowed me to collaborate with well-known business professionals, attend policy meetings, and gain insight into Greater Louisville’s economic development efforts.
 
What makes this experience truly special is the warm and welcoming atmosphere at GLI. They’ve made me feel like a valued team member, creating an environment where I can comfortably learn and seek guidance. This positive environment has made my internship a fantastic learning experience. I’m excited about the future and continuing this rewarding internship at GLI while pursuing my MBA at UofL. “
