Peter Aghimien

Bio

Peter Aghimien is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Louisiana Tech University. He is a certified public accountant, chartered global management accountant, and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has several years of teaching experience at universities in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and USA. Additionally, he has taught undergraduate, masters, and doctoral courses in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.

Aghimien has several years of professional consulting experience in accounting, banking, and international business. Recognized with a Fulbright Scholar award, he is also a recipient of several teaching, service, and research awards. He has published research papers in auditing, international accounting, and financial accounting. Administratively, he previously served as a dean as well as a departmental chair.
