Kristen Frarey

Bio

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Kristen is a mission driven people person with a background in several different career paths. She joined the University in 2001 in the Kentucky Autism Training Center and in 2009 joined the staff at the Event and Conference Center until 2015. After a spending time at a veteran non-profit and four wonderful years at The Chamber of St. Matthews, she returned to the University of Louisville’s Family Business Center to continue her love of member engagement and supporting the businesses in our community. Kristen has a daughter who is a freshman at Manual High, and a Siberian Husky son who is always the most entertaining member of the family and has been married for 29 years. After 25 years of floral design on the side (thanks to a short career at Nanz and Kraft Florists, a local family business) she is finally starting a side business of her own, Orange Blossom Designs, which she hopes to pass along to her daughter one day.
