Bio
W. Kent Oyler, III joined Greater Louisville Inc. as its President & CEO in June
2014. He leads GLI, the Metro Chamber of Commerce, in retaining and growing
existing businesses, supporting the entrepreneurial and start-up community,
attracting and preparing a skilled workforce, and driving advocacy efforts aimed
at creating a more business-friendly environment. Prior to GLI, Oyler served as
CEO of OPM Services, Inc., a financial-services and investment firm. After earning
business and MBA degrees from UofL, Kent Oyler worked for a predecessor to
PNC bank and later joined a large private manufacturing company where he rose
to be its CFO. In 1992 he founded OPM Services, Inc. and began a career as a serial
entrepreneur launching 19 new ventures in a variety of industries. Kent served
on the board of Leadership Louisville, Kentucky Science Center, Metro YMCA,
Venture Connectors, and the Metro Police Foundation, amongst many others.
Sean M. O’Leary is an entrepreneurial leader committed to developing products,
geographic markets, and employee growth. Before co-founding Edj Analytics, Sean
was the co-founder and former CEO of Genscape, Inc. O’Leary has been recognized
as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, which honors entrepreneurial
excellence in vision, innovation, courage, and leadership in building and growing
successful businesses. Sean is a member of the Bluegrass Chapter of the Young
Presidents Organization (YPO) and serves on the Board of Trustees for Louisville
Collegiate School. O’Leary holds a BBA degree in Finance and Economics from the
University of Michigan and is a graduate of the University of Louisville’s first MBA
in Entrepreneurship class. In 2015, he was inducted into the College of Business
Entrepreneurship Circle of Fame.
