Bio
C. Edward Glasscock is chairman emeritus of Frost Brown Todd, LLC, one of
Kentucky ‘s leading law practices. For 23 years before his present position, he
was managing member of the predecessor firm Brown, Todd & Heyburn—elected
at age 33. Glasscock concentrates on mergers, acquisitions, and venture capital
transactions. He also is an investor in private ventures, including the Louisville Bats
AAA baseball operation. Apart from his law career, he has been involved as chair
or vice-chair in a multitude of civic organizations, including Leadership Louisville
Foundation, Kentucky Center for the Arts, Junior Achievement, Greater Louisville,
Inc., Fund for the Arts, and the Regional Leadership Coalition. Glasscock is a
recipient of the Tom Simons Leadership Award, the Louisvillian of the Year Award,
and is a member of the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame. He has an
undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a law degree from the University of
Kentucky. He is a member of the University of Louisville Board of Overseers.
