As we close out another semester, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible energy, resilience and achievement across our College of Business community. This time of year is always special, but there’s something particularly meaningful about watching our graduates cross the finish line.

To our newest alumni, congratulations. You’ve put in the work, taken on challenges and grown in ways that will carry you forward long after graduation. While your time as students may be ending, your connection to the College of Business is just beginning. You are now part of a network that will support you for life, and we can’t wait to see where your path leads.

This spirit of connection and purpose was on full display at our recent Navigating Leadership Now conference, hosted by the University of Louisville Center for Positive Leadership. It was an inspiring day focused on what it means to lead with intention, compassion and impact.

A highlight of the event was honoring Lonnie Ali, who received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Positive Leadership. Her lifelong commitment to service, humility and purpose serves as a powerful reminder that leadership is not just about what we accomplish, but how we show up for others along the way.

As we celebrate the end of this semester, I’m grateful for the people who make this college such a vibrant, supportive and forward-moving community. Thank you for being part of it—and to our graduates, remember: you will always have a home here.
