Dear friends of the College of Business,

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who supported the College of Business during our annual Raise Some L day of giving. Your generosity helps create meaningful opportunities for our students—providing scholarships, resources and real-world experiences that shape their future success. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us invest in the next generation of business leaders, and we are so grateful for your continued support.

This month has also brought some national buzz to the College—thanks to a truly innovative approach to teaching economics.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Associate Professor Beth Munnich recently launched a wildly popular new Lunch & Learn series exploring the economics behind one of today’s most powerful businesswomen: Taylor Swift. Affectionately nicknamed “Swiftonomics,” the series uses Swift’s career and economic impact to teach core concepts in a way that resonates deeply with students. And it’s working—students are engaged, learning and excited.

What started as a clever way to connect with students has gone viral—featured in over 50 news segments, a live interview with a Los Angeles TV station and over a million combined views across national outlets

At the College of Business, we are proud to foster a culture of innovation—where our faculty are empowered to try new ideas, connect with students in creative ways, and make learning both rigorous and relevant.

Thank you for being part of our community. We are grateful for your support and excited for what’s ahead.

With gratitude,
Amy B. Henley
