Add the power of sales skills to your university degree.
Sidebar
The undergraduate Certificate in Sales is a 12-credit hour certificate (shown on the official transcript) that can be easily incorporated into a Marketing major or minor without adding extra credit hours, and can be added to any business major or university undergraduate degree.
Adding the Sales Certificate to any major can provide significant career advantages, including greater job opportunities, higher earning potential, and increase your marketability through transferable skillsets highly valued in today’s job market.
“More than 50% of US college graduates, regardless of their majors, are likely to work in sales right out of college… But of the over 4,000 colleges in this country, [only 4%] have sales programs or even sales courses.”
The undergraduate certificate in sales will prepare students to understand the science and language of sales and sales leadership today; to help customers solve problems and/or capture opportunities by applying a basic need satisfaction sales process; to develop long term relationships with customers built on trust and doing what is best for the customer; to understand how to build a new sales organization from strategy to performance evaluations then lead that organization from a sales leader's perspective; to analyze sales situations and apply sound business decisions; to learn how to succeed in a complex and competitive sale environment by matching an advanced consultative sales process to the customer's buying process ... all accomplished in a role-playing focused curriculum.
