How Does It Work?

Sign Up for Cardinal Flight
Start your journey toward earning your Cardinal Flight digital badge and graduation cord by signing up for the Cardinal Flight Path on EngageUofL.
Steps to Enroll:
- Log in to EngageUofL using your ULink credentials.
- Click your profile image (top right) and select Paths.
- Choose Cardinal Flight from the dropdown menu.
- Select an approved activity to participate in.
- When you're ready, return to your Cardinal Flight Path to enter your participation details, track your progress, and complete the reflection questions.

Participate in Cardinal Flight–Approved Experiences
After enrolling in your Cardinal Flight Path (Step #1), complete approved activities in each competency area:
- Career Development & Professionalism
- Communication & Teamwork
- Leadership & Belonging
- Thinking & Technology
Complete each area by doing three foundational-level experiences or one advanced-level experience.

Submit Activity Reflections
After completing an experience:
- From your Cardinal Flight Path (see Step #1 for how to access), click on the activity you completed to submit your reflection and upload proof of completion.
- You’ll be notified once your submission is approved or if revisions are needed.

Submit Final Reflection – Earn Your Digital Badge
Once you've completed all requirements
- Submit your Digital Badge Request through the Cardinal Flight Path on EngageUofL by the deadline.
- You can request your badge as soon as you finish all requirements; it must be requested by your graduation semester to be eligible.
- Once you receive your badge, share it on social media!

Pick Up Your Graduation Cord
- First, request your cord through the Cardinal Flight Path on EngageUofL by the deadline.
- Once your request is approved, pick up your cord at the College of Business Reinhardt Academic Center.
Note: You must wait until your graduation semester and have applied for graduation to receive your cord.

Wear your cord at graduation and enjoy your accomplishment!
