MEET MSBA STUDENT BEN VERMEIL

Propelling my future at the University of Louisville while building upon my University of South Carolina degree in Business Information Systems, I enrolled at the University of Louisville to earn my Master of Science in Business Analytics. I am currently the Manager of Finance & Analytics for PharMerica, where I started as a Marketing Data Intern through the Graduate Internship Program. A large part of my current role is using data and data visualizations to provide greater insight into its performance. To accomplish this, I use a variety of tools that I gained experience with while in the MSBA program.

Utilizing SQL and R, I helped develop a program that combines numerous data sources — which are then used to produce a series of dashboards and reports in Tableau. Our Account Management team uses these dashboards to manage their book of business more effectively and ensure we are providing the best possible service for our clients.
