Student Emergency Scholarship Fund
In 2008, the College of Business Board of Advisors Emergency Scholarship Fund was established to support students that encounter unexpected financial emergencies that might prevent them from persisting to graduation.
The goal of the fund is to help students during a time of need, stay in school and make progress towards their degree. These funds are not intended to be used for routine expenses or as a consistent supplement to a student’s educational funding sources. An event or unforeseeable circumstance must be the cause of the loss of funds to be eligible for student emergency funds.
Students may apply when they have exhausted all other resources. If awarded, students are not required to repay the funding amount.
If you have questions about these funds, please call (502) 852-4784 or email Joe Neary, Chief of Staff for the College of Business.
