Academic Advisors:
- Help develop your program plan, including which courses you must take each semester to stay on track toward graduation
- Assist with planning your course schedule each semester
- Verify all necessary courses are completed before applying for graduation
- Answer questions about and explain university policies and procedures
- Provide referrals to necessary academic and support resources such as student success coordinators, tutors, counselors, financial aid advisors, and career services coaches
- Introduce connections with other departments in the College of Business
Student Success Coordinators:
- Provide support through academic, financial, or personal challenges
- Aid in setting academic goals and identifying your unique strengths
- Guide in developing time management skills, study skills, and organizational skills so that you can achieve academic and personal success
- Assist in developing effective learning and engagement strategies so that you can unlock your potential
- Share information on helpful campus and personal resources
- Initiate communication when needed to aid in motivating and keeping you on track
- Promote stress management, wellness, and self-care resources for a balanced lifestyle (NO CHANGES)
- Connect you with academic and support resources such as academic advisors, tutors, counselors, financial aid advisors, and career services coaches

Contact the Student Services TeamYou must meet with a College of Business Advisor if you are a:
- First-semester freshman upon admission into the College of Business. This will occur during freshman orientation.
- Transfer student (once admitted into the College of Business)
- Students returning to the College of Business with a break in enrollment of two or more consecutive years
- Student on academic warning or probation
- Student who has changed majors (recently admitted change of major students must schedule an advising appointment by calling (502) 852-7439.
