Richard Germain obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University (Montreal) in 1981, an MBA from McGill University (Montreal) in 1986, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI) in 1989. He has published more than 60 refereed journal articles and served as the Head of the Center for International Logistics (St. Petersburg University, Russia) from 2010 to 2012, as Chair of the University of Louisville Marketing Department (College of Business) from 2012 to 2014, and as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs (University of Louisville, College of Business) since 2014.
