制定和确认工作场所尊严规模

随着组织学者对人类在工作场所的蓬勃发展已进行了严格的调整,人们对工作场所尊严的兴趣迅速增长。 然而,尚未开发出一种有效的量表来衡量员工在工作场所中的尊严感,从而限制了潜在的经验见解。 为了满足这一需求,我们进行了系统的,多研究规模的开发项目。 使用焦点小组(N = 62),专家小组(N = 11)和两次调查(N = 401和N = 542)生成的数据,我们开发并验证了18个项目的工作场所尊严量表(WDS)。 我们的研究揭示了支持WDS的心理测量特性及其内容,结构和与标准相关的有效性的证据。 我们的结构模型支持工作场所特征(例如肮脏的工作,收入不足)和尊严之间的预测关系。 此外,我们观察到工作场所尊严在解释员工敬业度,职业倦怠和离职意图方面的差异的有效性日益提高,这超出了组织尊重和有意义的工作的解释性影响。 这些结果证明了WDS对于组织研究的希望。
