Dual Degree

Our Partnership with the EBS University of Business and Law

Business majors now have the opportunity to earn a degree from both the University of Louisville and EBS University of Business and Law in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. Students who opt to participate in the program will spend three semesters in Germany studying business. While abroad, students may opt to pursue courses in English, German, or both.

The EBS University of Business and Law is a nearly decade-long exchange partner of UofL’s College of Business. Additional benefits of the program include paying UofL tuition while in Germany and the potential for an international internship. UofL students may use their financial aid to help with the costs of the program.

The Rheingau campus is an old abbey nestled among vineyards and the Rheingau River. Mainz and Wiesbaden are only about 45 minutes away by train. Frankfurt, the German financial capital, is a quick 80-minute train ride from campus. Students will also have the opportunity to travel independently while studying in a truly international environment.

UofL students who opt to participate in the dual degree program will follow a structured curriculum for their first two years at UofL. During the first four semesters, UofL students will focus on their general education requirements and business breadth classes. Dual-degree students will depart fall of their third year at UofL and spend the next three semesters studying at EBS. While abroad, they will pursue most of their major requirements and electives.
