Founded in 2014, the MBA Alumni Council was created to: foster relationships between UofL MBA Alumni, build relationships between MBA Alumni and the Louisville community, and to increase the R.O.I. of the MBA degree from UofL.
UofL has graduated over 4,200 Alumni from its MBA programs. The MBA Alumni Council, a branch of the University of Louisville Alumni Association, is tasked with engaging those Alumni and reminding them why it’s great to be a Louisville Cardinal.
There are 16 Alumni volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors of the MBA Alumni Council, working hard to reach the lofty goals mentioned above. The easiest way to reach those goals is to engage with Alumni through events. Since 2014, the Council has hosted over 50 events, including; UofL basketball watch parties, networking socials and the annual UofL MBA Alumni Golf Scramble.
In 2015 the Council founded the T. Vernon Foster scholarship endowment, named after Executive Director of the UofL MBA and Graduate Programs, Vernon Foster. The endowment has ballooned to over $40,000 in just 3 years and will be used to attract top talent to the University of Louisville. The Council has a goal of reaching $100,000 by 2020.
All Council events are open to current students, alumni, and friends. We encourage you to join us at our next event.
Registration is now open for the 4th Annual MBA Alumni Golf Scramble, held at University of Louisville Golf Course in Simpsonville, KY. Registration and sponsorship opportunities are still available.
Further details for this event and more can be found on our website UofLMBAAlumni.com.
