     The University of Louisville is located in a metropolitan area with a growing international population. So our students and faculty are a diverse group with widely varying life experiences. That translates into a stimulating, high-quality learning environment.

     Our college has a national reputation as a leader in teaching entrepreneurial thinking. We have been selected as the National Model MBA Entrepreneurship Program and our programs in entrepreneurship are regularly ranked among the very best in the world.

     We are pleased to provide two high-quality MBA programs in two-year formats designed for working professionals. IMBA - The MBA for Entrepreneurial Thinking offers a unique, integrative format with a focus on the entrepreneurial aspects of management in all types of firms, from startups to mature corporations seeking to grow in a changing environment. The Professional MBA offers a high-quality MBA learning experience for working professionals seeking to enhance their global management and leadership skills in areas including finance, accounting, marketing, management, computer information systems, and economics. These cohort-based MBA programs provide AACSB-accredited learning experiences from a premier metropolitan research university with a global reputation for excellence.

     Our leadership in innovative thinking also includes a minor in entrepreneurship and a Ph.D. program in entrepreneurship. The College of Business also offers a Masters of Accountancy degree and an array of outstanding undergraduate programs in finance, marketing, management, economics, accounting, computer information systems, and an equine management program unique in the U.S. Our growing number of international partner schools provides ample opportunities for an international learning experience.
     Our entrepreneurial spirit means that we take risks, encourage faculty innovation, and nurture in students the self-confidence necessary for leadership. We arm students with practical business basics, computer and telecommunication savvy, an appreciation for global realities, and essential communication and analytical skills.

     In our research, we apply new ideas to help organizations achieve practical ends. Additionally, our faculty members are active in the Louisville community and in their national and international professional organizations.
