Accountancy Faculty & Staff

     The School of Accountancy has 16 full-time faculty members. Their areas of expertise and research include financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting for not-for-profit organizations, accounting theory, computerized accounting information systems, and commercial law. They produce scholarly works that disseminate knowledge to the business and academic communities and that enrich the learning experiences of our students.

     Faculty members are active in professional groups such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the American Accounting Association, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. They use their expertise to serve the community, the university, and the accounting profession. They also have extensive business and professional experience and are active consultants for business, government and not-for-profit organizations.
