Both law and business are complex and dynamic and there is significant interaction between the two. Students completing the program have a unique advantage in today’s competitive marketplace and a strong foundation for future success. The MBA/JD program is offered both by the College of Business and the Brandeis School of Law. Upon successful completion of the programs, the student is awarded both the MBA and the JD degrees.
See the Full-Time and Juris Doctor pages for a sample curriculum of each program. All electives in the MBA program will be covered by required classes in the JD program and nine JD credit hours will be waived for dual-degree students as well.
To be admitted into the duel-degree program, the student is required to apply to and be accepted by both programs. The student is responsible for tuition requirements for the School of Law and the College of Business. While enrolled in the College of Business, MBA/JD students are subject to all academic policies and procedures applicable to graduate business students.
