     Students from the Bordeaux Ecole de Management must follow these application steps to study at the University of Louisville College of Business, in Louisville, Kentucky USA.

Step 1: Nomination by home university
     Ask your home university’s exchange coordinator to send an email to our Study Abroad Coordinator Elizabeth Liebschutz at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with the names and email addresses of the students who would like to study abroad at the UofL College of Business, and the semester they would like to attend.

Step 2: Apply to the University of Louisville

     Fill out the online application.  You will be asked to pay a $40 application fee.  You may use a credit card to pay this fee.

Step 3: Sending the documentation

     Please send the following items electronically to our Study Abroad Coordinator Elizabeth Liebschutz at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it after you have applied to UofL.

  1. Your official academic transcript in English or an unofficial transcript in English with a formal letter of sponsorship from your home university’s exchange coordinator.
  2. Proof of English Proficiency required; must submit TOEFL scores:
    1. Internet-based: 79+
    2. Computer-based: 213+
    3. Paper-based: 550+
  3. A copy of your passport picture page
  4. An email with your
    1. City of birth
    2. Country of birth
    3. Country of citizenship
    4. Country of legal permanent residency
    5. Mailing address
    6. Personal email address
  1. Financial documents that show a minimum amount of monies available to your while you are in the United States.  This must be in English and reported in U.S. dollars.  The 2009-2010 academic year minimum amount of monies available is US $4,500.  Please confirm the current minimum before submitting documents.
  2. An ECE is not necessary.
