Admission to the College of Business MBA Programs or Master of Accountancy Program

Each year, UofL invites a select group of talented and motivated students to join our MBA and Master of Accountancy programs.  We are looking for students just like you -- individuals who have distinguished themselves through work experience and undergraduate studies, and people with leadership potential who can make contributions in their spheres of influence.

We accept the most talented individuals to make the interactive learning experience exceptional.  Your application materials will be carefully and personally considered by our admissions team, and qualified candidates will be invited to meet with us for an interview once a complete application has been received.

We understand that applicants are more than their paperwork, which is why qualified candidates are invited to our office for a personal interview after all admission materials are received.

Completed online application:

Specific to the program you wish to pursue with $50 fee (links to the online applications listed below)

Two letters of recommendation: 

We request two letters of reference to gain a more complete understanding of who you are. Your recommenders should be people who can comment meaningfully on your professional performance and academic abilities.

Current resume:

We request a detailed resume as we consider your work experience. We look at full-time and part-time job responsibilities, and consider your skills, accomplishments, and business acumen for a managerial career.

Personal statement:

This part of the application is your opportunity to demonstrate your writing and communication skills, and to give examples of your leadership and career goals. Provide any information that will help us learn how you can benefit from and contribute to the MBA program at the University of Louisville. Please limit your essay to no more than two pages. We do not have a specific word count limit or preferred font size. Use your best judgment and be creative and concise.

Official transcripts:

Transcripts must verify a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;Transcripts from additional degrees earned are optional; Domestic transcripts should be mailed directly from the College or University to the following address:
