Entrepreneurship MBA

Our most recognized MBA program focuses on entrepreneurship and allows students to create a new venture and participate in national business plan competitions. This program begins in May each year and is a cohort-based, 2-year program. Classes are held two nights per week from 6 - 9 pm plus some Saturdays.

Full-Time MBA

UofL's newest MBA program is designed for recent graduates and offers a part-time, paid internship while students take courses in the afternoon/evening. This cohort-based program starts in August 2010 and classes are held two nights per week and on Friday afternoons so students can quickly complete the program in 13 months. Five elective courses allow students to choose an area of focus.

Professional MBA

This MBA program is a cohort-based, 2-year program offered in either a Saturday or evening format. Six elective courses allow students to choose an area of focus. Each January we begin the Saturday program with classes meeting 38 Saturdays per year from 9am - 5 pm with lunch provided.  The evening program starts each August and classes meet two nights per week from 6 - 9 pm, plus three Saturdays per year.

Joint MBA / Master of Accountancy (MAC)

The Joint MBA/MAC enables students to waive the electives in both the Professional MBA and MAC programs to earn two masters degrees in less time and for less money than working toward them separately. It is a unique opportunity for students to develop the detailed technical knowledge they need to perform well on the CPA exam as well as the broad business perspective increasingly required by today's businesses.

Joint MBA / Master of Engineering (MEng)

The College of Business, in conjunction with the J. B. Speed School of Engineering, offers a program which allows students to simultaneously work toward their Professional MBA and Masters of Engineering degrees. Electives are waived for both programs to reduce cost and time for students versus earning them separately.

Joint MBA / Juris Doctorate (JD)

Joint MBA/JD students typically attend their JD courses through the Brandeis School of Law during the day and their MBA courses in the evening or on Saturday. Students are encouraged to complete the first year of law school before beginning the Professional MBA program.  Electives are then waived for both degrees, so rather than earning them separately, students can reduce their time and costs with this joint degree.

Joint MBA / Doctor of Medicine (MD)

Earn your MBA and MD degrees simultaneously through the College of Business' newest joint degree program.  Students complete the MBA courses during the first two years of medical school and all business electives are waived to shorten the length of the MBA program and give you a stronger foundation for future success.

European MBA

This 15-month program includes two months of preparation work and 13 months of classroom learning.  All classes are taught in English with half the classes held in Germany and half held at UofL (summers). The degree brings together students from many countries to focus on international business and entrepreneurship.
