Building their brands: College recognizes corporate donors Print

Photo of corporate wall plaques     College of Business students visiting the Ulmer Center for career guidance now have a powerful reminder of which companies in Metro Louisville are “employers of choice.”
     A new display outside the Center prominently recognizes the brands of corporate partners who have donated $10,000 or more to the College of Business since 2005.

     “We’re fortunate so many companies have the vision to support the next generation of business leaders,” said Chris Taylor, senior development officer for the college.  “Their investments and input translate into excellence in our classrooms.”
Photo of corporate wall plaques     Many of the companies highlighted also provide internships, co-op positions and diverse career opportunities to business students.  Charter members recognized on the wall include AEGON, Pepsi, Aleris Rolled Products, Cisco Systems, Target, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Brown-Forman, Butterfield & Associates, AT&T, National City, Rogers Group Investments and Texas Roadhouse.
