College of Business adds another China connection Print

     On October 10, Dean Charlie Moyer signed a partnership agreement with Director Dongfeng Xu of the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT).

     Founded in 1960, the SIFT Business School has 2,700 undergraduate students and approximately 300 MBA students.  The school is the sole institution of higher education for international business in the East China region. The agreement will permit student exchanges Shanghai Institute of Foreign Tradeand study tours as well as opportunities for faculty exchanges and short-term teaching and research visits. SIFT is one of 14 universities located in the new (since 2001) zone called University City in Shanghai.
     The SIFT Business School specializes in international business and many of the graduates work in foreign trade throughout the East China region.
