     I am currently an applications developer working on a Java based framework project for communications to the restaurants up through corporate offices. During my undergrad it would have been difficult to cover all the aspects of the languages that I currently use. My CIS degree gave me the experience and confidence to know how to quickly research and learn new syntax. The well rounded technical education I received in coding, databases, networking, and security help when I am either setting up my own environment for development or working with other teams who specialize in each of these areas. Even more important to my current accomplishment were the other non-technical classes in the CIS curriculum and the general business classes. These classes are where I developed an understanding of not only the business environment but frame of mind and concerns of my clients.
