The ACCOMMODATIONS

Louisville is centrally located within a day's drive of 60 percent of the U.S. population. It is located at the convergence of interstate highways I-71, I-65 and I-64. Sample driving mileage: Chicago 300; Atlanta 420; Pittsburgh 390; St. Louis, 260; Cincinnati 95; Nashville 170.

More than 110 direct flights per day arrive at Louisville International Airport (SDF), which is just 10 minutes from downtown Louisville, where the Cardinal Challenge will be held. The airport is served by Delta, US Air, Continental, American, Southwest and other major carriers.

The Hyatt Regency Hotel is the official Cardinal Challenge hotel and site of the majority of the competition. It is located in downtown Louisville at 320 West Jefferson Street (a one-way street running east to west), and bounded by Fourth Street, Liberty Street and Third Street. The hotel has an attached parking garage accessible only off Jefferson St.
The Hyatt does not operate an airport shuttle. Flat rate for a taxi ride for one person from the airport to the Hyatt Regency is approximately $17.85. Parking in the Hyatt garage is $10 overnight or $13 with in/out privileges per day.

Each competing team is assigned a “Team Ambassador” prior to arrival in Louisville.  The ambassadors are UofL College of Business Entrepreneurial MBA students not competing in the 2010 Brown-Forman Cardinal Challenge.  Ambassadors provide hospitality and coordination assistance for each team during their stay in Louisville, and may answer questions prior to arrival.
