Accountancy Careers
A graduate with a bachelor's degree in accountancy* may choose a career in public practice, industry, government, or the not-for-profit sector. Actual work may include: auditing, environmental accounting, forensic accounting, information technology services, international accounting, management consulting services, financial planning, tax planning, corporate finance, internal auditing, management accounting, and financial reporting. In addition, many entrepreneurs and CEOs began their careers as accountants.
*Students interested in becoming CPAs must complete 150 semester hours.
