Attention May 2008 Graduates!

May 2008 Commencement

DIRECTIONS FOR BUSINESS GRADUATES
(Attending Both University and CoB Convocations)
     The College of Business convocation will start promptly at 3:30 p.m. in Broadbent Arena. YOU, YOUR FAMILY, AND GUESTS may cross from Freedom Hall out the back exit through the parking lot between the baseball stadium and Broadbent Arena. Please go immediately from the University-wide ceremony to Broadbent Arena. Go into Broadbent Arena, ask your family and guests to be seated in the arena and look for directional signs that will lead you to the areas where you will line up.
     Undergraduates (BSBA, BSE, BA) will line up in the breezeway (area connecting the arena and the West Wing) and Graduates (IMBA, MBA, MAC) will line up in the area at the end of the arena opposite from the end with the stage and graduate seating. See the map on back for the locations in which you will line up. Pick up your name card as you enter your appropriate area. There will be staff from the College's Advising Office to help you with the line up and any questions you may have. Hold on to your name card at all times until someone collects your card just prior to you crossing the stage. This card is what your name will be read from; so, please hold on to the card until that time.
     Only graduates may be in the areas where you line up. Thank you for your cooperation. This is your day and we want your experience to be a positive one.
     Note: You are required to attend the rehearsal for the University-wide ceremony held on Friday, May 9th at 6:00 pm with the line up beginning in the West Wing. There is no rehearsal for the CoB's unit convocation; however, please go immediately from the University-wide ceremony to Broadbent Arena. There will be signs directing you to the appropriate location in which you will line up and staff to direct you into the appropriate lines.
     If you are only attending the College of Business Convocation, arrive in Broadbent Arena no later than 3:00 p.m. There will be signs directing you to the appropriate locations and staff/advisors to put you in line.
