Kerry M. Griesinger, a rising junior in the College of Business, has been selected a 2008 William G. McGowan Scholar by the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund.  The award includes tuition for her senior year of studies.

     Twelve College of Business students joined a global network of over 400,000 successful businessmen and women this week in an induction ceremony for the Beta Gamma Sigma international honor society. The students (listed below) were selected based on their outstanding scholastic achievements and service throughout their college careers.

College of Business alumni marking 50 years since their graduation gathered at the University Club this week for the Golden Alumni Dean’s Lunch. The annual university-wide celebration features three days of activities including luncheons, a seminar, reception and induction into the Golden Alumni Society.

     Irvin, founder of the Future Focus 2020 think tank and a member of the WFS board of directors, will chair the July 26-28 event in Washington D.C. The WFS is an international, non-partisan scientific and educational association of people interested in how social and technological developments are shaping the future.
