A resume consists of components such as contact information, job objective, education, employment history, skills and abilities, and activities and honors. The resume serves as a marketing tool to sell yourself to potential employers. The primary objective of a resume is to get an interview in order to sell your product – YOU!
Never put a resume together? Not a problem! Ulmer Career Management Center is here to assist you in putting together or simply editing an existing resume. We offer the “Resume Rx” workshop to help students learn specific marketing techniques, including the use of precise wording, to effectively market themselves with their resumes. Please see the Ulmer Career Center events calendar or the College of Business student calendar for dates, time, and location. You can RSVP to any of the workshops via COB CareerTrak.
