BSBA in CIS — Cyber Security

The Cybersecurity program in the ISAO department at the University of Louisville was designated by the NSA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) for 2019-2024. Through this designation, our institution actively contributes to mitigating threats to our national infrastructure by fostering higher education and research in cyber defense. Moreover, we are dedicated to cultivating a skilled workforce in cybersecurity, thereby supplying the nation with a robust pipeline of qualified professionals in this critical field.

The cybersecurity courses in the department help students build the knowledge and skills to secure digital systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Our cybersecurity program focuses on developing expertise in threat detection, prevention, and response, ensuring students can contribute effectively to the cybersecurity field.
